Thrive 2017 - Sussex Prairie Garden

Dozens of small and large globe and pods variations emerged from a large reclaimed yew trunk to create this alien like permanent feature in the beautiful Sussex Prairie Garden. I wanted to play on the idea of pods mimicking a fungal burst of life. Each steel rebar piece is tactile to the touch, bobbing and swaying in the wind.
