Impulsive Line

‘Impulsive Line’ series began in 2019, with large examples being debuted in Hardy’s Cottage Plants gold medal winning show garden at Chelsea Flower Show 2019.  Each piece may begin with a plan or ambition, but is shaped impulsively in situ.  I aim to fill the proportions of a space with flowing curves and interacting features.  Naturally each piece uses plenty of material and so will flex and wobble around with its shape, similar to my ‘Globe’ sculptures.
